An important message from Dawn-Victoria+
I write this letter to you with a heart that is full of mixed emotions. This morning I announced that I have been called to serve as Priest-in-Charge of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Chenango Bridge, New York.
My last day at Trinity-St. Paul’s/Hannibal will effectively be Saturday, 31 July. I will then take the month of August for some vacation, some moving, and some settling in time. I will assume my new duties at St. Mark’s on 1 September.
While I am excited about what God might have in my future with St. Mark’s, I am also very sad to leave Hannibal. I will be forever grateful for our time together. You will go with me in my heart and in my prayers.
Canon Doris Westfall, our Canon to the Ordinary, will work with the Vestry and lead you through the search process. A Search Committee will be formed under the Vestry’s guidance. The process will also involve a time for congregational reflection and discernment about who Trinity is and who God might be calling for your next Rector.
My sincerest prayers and best wishes will be with you during the search process. As always, I wish you and Trinity all the best. May God bless you and keep you!
