Outreach Programs

Community outreach is very important to us at Trinity. The love of God, which we have received in Jesus, urges us to share that love with others. We especially remember Jesus’ call to care for the friendless, the hungry, the lonely, and the poor (Matthew 25).

Every month we collect food for the Douglas Community Center Outreach Program.

A group of volunteers goes each month to Loaves and Fishes to prepare and serve a meal.

During the summer, we collect school supplies in connection with F.A.C.T. (Families and Communities Together). The supplies are used to fill up backpacks handed out at F.A.C.T.’s free back-to-school screening in August.

We also spread Christmas joy by adopting a family through our “Glad Tidings” program.

Our art gallery features the works of local artists. Each month a different artist is featured. The gallery is open for viewing Monday through Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. and by special arrangement.
